EMX Patriot-MR Basic Mid-Range RFID Kit

This compact RFID reader is an ideal low-cost, mid-range RFID system for parking facilities, residential communities, and commercial applications. Unlike barcode systems that require precise alignment and clean surfaces, EMX’s RFID technology delivers true drive-through convenience with no physical contact and no line-of-sight limitations.

Designed as a complete, ready-to-install solution, this kit includes both RFID windshield tags and a quad-relay access controller, so you have everything needed to deploy a functional access system without purchasing additional core components.

Built for scalable access control, the system can support up to 20,000 users and control up to four gates or doors, making it suitable for multi-lane sites, gated properties, and managed parking environments.

The Patriot-MR performs exceptionally well in controlled lanes and is a great replacement for traditional barcode scanners. Its discreet enclosure measures just 4.5" x 4.5", allowing for a low-profile installation. When mounted on a gooseneck post (not included), the reader blends seamlessly into the site while maintaining reliable performance.

The system includes a circular polarized antenna that provides up to 10 feet of read range. This design enables credentials to be read consistently even when tags are not perfectly aligned, ensuring smoother vehicle flow and fewer read errors.
