The photo eye is a secondary safety device. It produces a beam between the 2 units. When the beam is broken, it will keep the gate from closing. Designed for use with 12/24 VDC gate operators, this heavy-duty safety device uses an infrared beam to detect obstacles in the path of your gate, preventing accidents and ensuring worry-free operation. The product is composed of a couple of adjustable optic infrared devices, TX and RX, operating at an 880 nm wavelength.
